The Holy Beauty Project (2010)
An ongoing series of Artworks inspired by Religious Art and Fashion, incorporating different media such as painting, photography, video and performance. The Holy Beauty Project explores the seductive power of images and idealized representations. In other words, it is a satyr of seduction, a homage to my roots and the most ambitious creative journey I’ve embarked myself in!

Comme des filles, Collaboration with Jonna Bergelin (2010)
Art book project made in collaboration with Swedish artist and costume designer Jonna Bergelin. Inspired by the books On the Road by Jack Kerouac and Off the road by Carolyn Cassady, Jonna did the clothes and I did a series of photographs. The final result is a photography book, titled Comme des Filles, that was exhibited at Stockholm, Sweden Gallery Grafiska Sällskapet.

Collaboration with Miss Aniela (2009)Self-portrait collaboration with British fine-art photographer Miss Aniela (aka Natalie Dybisz). The ideas for our collaboration came mostly from the shared concern and feeling of impotence towards issues like the disdain for -nude or not nude- female self-portraiture, the omnipresence of gender stereotypes and censorship -specially of women’s nipples.

In her Own Image (2009)
The book In Her Own Image, second publication of the Female Self-Portrait Artists’ Support Group (FSPASG), was published in August, 2009. The FSPASG is a collective of female photographers from around the world who share their passion for self-portraiture on Flickr. I worked on the book both as part of the design team and as contributing artist, which features a beautiful and diverse collection of selected self-portraits from several members of the group. The book is available on Blurb.

Dialogue with the Radio… (2008 -)
It used to be an ongoing interactive art project that encouraged true and critical feedback on my work. It also was an open space where people could speak their minds while seeing my work linked to certain texts. The main idea was to promote fair discussion around some subjects that might be hard to tackle, such as art, religion, life, stereotypes, gender issues, etc…The project launched on Flickr on 2008, having a very good response, but unfortunately it was stopped due to Flickr’s censorship policies. I look forward to create another space where we can continue the Dialogue and where there’s nobody asking me to filter my content. I’m currently designing an art-book which will include the 20 first sets of images and texts, along with the most interesting and original feedback.

Art my ass (2007 -)
I’ve been drawing asses on post-its since 2007, when I was studying for a Visual Arts degree back in Bogotá. I keep doing so, whenever I have the time. The idea is to draw enough post-its to fill the entire walls of a large room.
